Lenten Journey
Lent is more than half way over - seems like it's going by fast! We've been doing well at sticking to the things we gave up for Lent and doing the extra things that we've added into our lives for Lent (which I'm hoping we continue to do). For the first time in my life I actually have been reading the bible, along with Kurt. This was one of the Love Dare challenges but it seems like it really fits with Lent. I'm really enjoying it! Today I taught the kids what a Sacrifice is. I was really amazed that Landen understood completely and has been telling me the sacrifices he's been doing. He's really growing up. Thanks to a few different girls and the reminder of making a Lenten Journey Calender. Better late than never. The kids are loving it. I have been finding Landen explaining it to Amelia several times. How's your Lenten Journey going?

This is a wonderful idea! I've never done this. I'll have to next Lent. Great idea.
I'm not having as great a Lent as I had hoped, but we had a rough start. I made it to Confession last Saturday & that was good, plus I'm going on a women's day retreat March 26. Really looking forward to that!
How did you explain sacrifice to Landen?
Could you please explain the calendar idea?? That looks great!!
