God sent me a little helper...

Today Landen was attacking me with a book while I was trying to nurse Amelia to sleep. She was just at that nodding off stage so I didn't want to move to the couch for story time (a lot of times we read while I nurse Amelia). I decided to distract Landen and ask him to go into the laundry room to see if the dryer was finished. I could hear that it had quit, but it distracted him. Off he went! A couple minutes passed and I decided I better lay Amelia down because he hadn't come back. On my way into the laundry room, I see him pulling the laundry basket full of the all the clean clothes from the dryer. I love my little helper. =)

How cute! Isn't it SOOO nice when they start to help you out, and you don't even have to ask them too? :)

How sweet. :)
Aidan has surprised me, too. He started taking over dryer duty when I had my kidney stones this past pregnancy. It melted my heart! Now he continues to clean the lint filter-he's serious about it, too. lol

It's always rewarding to see your children being thoughtful.

AWWWWW!! This was suc a sweet post! Don't you wish all the moms who give your little boy "the look" could see him doing this?

Uh, I DO!!! LOl. A few times recently Aidan got that look, and I gave that look right back to the rude people staring. (yea, immature of me) People let the good go unnoticed too often.

I agree that people let the good that children do go unnoticed. I am guilty of this myself at times.
Isn't there a saying like for every negative thing said you need ten nice things to make up for it?
Anyway, that's why I try to keep in my head. I try to praise Landen as much as possible so there aren't just No's all the time.

Thanks for all the comments!
