I was sitting reading my children some books and looked outside and seriously felt like our house was sitting inside a snow globe. It's gorgeous outside, snow is coming down heavy and filling the streets and ground with snow. No where to go but to sit in my nice blanket and watch the snow fall. It's lovely.
Most of my readers know I'm big on Ecological Breast Feeding and believe in the way it works. I do have to admit on cheating a bit with Amelia when we gave her that stupid pacifier for awhile (which I will never do again with any of my children - I hate pacifiers.) Putting my beliefs aside, I still would never use anything other than natural family planning. Instead of going into my own post about EBF and NFP, check out Kate Wickers great post about it and Sheila Kippleys new book (she has great books, I can't wait to read this one). Happy Reading. I'm off to sit in my snow globe!

Interesting post!! So that is why I pass out nursing Libbie down for her nap no matter how hard I try not to!! =] I guess I've been doing this for the most part without knowing it too..I hadn't even heard the term EBF until you mentioned a while back.
Binkies do have their place thou so don't feel bad about having used one!! Had we not given Liesie a binky as a newborn to give me an occassional break I can all but guarantee I would've given up on breastfeeding from the pain of her bad latch.
Oh I LOVE the snow :) I just hate the cold!
That article was great. I don't know much at all about ecological breastfeeding. Maybe I'll email you sometime :)
I wish we had snow for Christmas--It's not even cold here right now (70's all week!!).
I agree with everything you said about BFing, pacifiers, and NFP (except I'm all Creighton :o)
Are you still BFing Amelia, by the way?
