The Wedding...

Was wonderful! Unfortunately I have like no pictures because quite honestly when you have two little kids, are helping others get ready and getting yourself ready it's pretty darn hard to take pictures. I have a few but nothing that great. I'm hoping to get a few to share from one of my sisters, I'll post them later! Until then, use your imagination of pure beauty.

Thursday night was rehearsal. Jake and Sara served the entire wedding party (12 plus spouses, parents, siblings, themselves, etc - it was a lot) at Jake (and now Sara's place). It was yummy and very elegant and nice. We then headed to the church for rehearsal - it went well. Everything was pretty much set up in the hall and church so there wasn't a lot to do.

Friday - Kurt had to head to school for half is class so the kids and I got up early and headed to Jake's where we were all going to get ready. Everyone was there by 9:30am and we started showers and doing hair. Oh my goodness that took forever, but it was a lot of fun to all just spend time together. The kids were good but no naps (yikes). Sara and I ended up doing every one's hair and everyone honestly looked amazing - there is no way anyone could have looked any better. We seemed to be rushed getting out of there by 3:00 (see how much time it took.) but all got to the church, got Sara all dressed (she was amazing looking) and pictures started at 4:00. The photographer was great and I cannot wait to see all the photo's. The wedding started at 6:00 and it was really lovely, I did pretty well at not getting choked up enough to actually have tears rolling down my face. It was all candle light, soft and beautiful. Everything went really smooth and no major errors. Landen was screaming for his mommy the entire 1.5 hours which caused me to flub up my reading but nobody noticed and Kurt did exceptional so what does it matter. Afterwards we headed straight to the hall (which was right next door) and got announced and ate. It was late before any dancing even started - 9:30 I think?!?! The hall was beyond beautiful, Sara made all the decorations (with a little help from us peons - lol) and it was once again lit with just twinkly (Christmas lights) and candles. Lovely. The kids were good and Amelia actually fell asleep not to long after all the major events were finished. She was going from crazy to looking like she was going to fall over any second. There were a few mishaps with the candles and not to careful people placing items WAY to close to them. Ha ha ha! Dad is always right.. I suppose!!!! The big surprise was that the wedding party practiced swing dancing before the wedding and that's what our dance was. It was great, i only wish there was video! Landen literally danced a hole in the floor he had so much fun. I do regret not getting to talk to more people, but by the end of the day I was exhausted and the little girl needed her mommy. So in a little nutshell that was it. Fabulous, beautiful and amazing! Sara and Jake are now in Mexico on their honeymoon (serious jealously here!!! Haha). I know they are having a great time.

I hope to have some pictures soon!!!

I'm sure you looked beautiful, Andrea, and I want to see at least ONE pic. You have yet to post a preggo pic of yourself!

I'm jealous of their honeymoon, too. Not that ours wasn't great, but I'm jealous of the fact that they are THERE! I'm sure they'll have a great time. I miss our honeymoon every single anniversary. Best memories of my life.
