Babywearing Week & Guest Post

Amazing Wins!

I've been wanting to post some pictures of two things I won to share! I just haven't taken the time to take pictures, even though we've been using them like crazy!

I finally got a pouch sling from Rockin' Baby Slings and can someone please tell me why I didn't get one of these sooner? Amelia and I love it and we use it all the time. It's so easy to just slide on my hip and away we go. Not to mention I LOVE the fabric, it's reversible and it zips at the shoulder depending on what size you want it to be at. I actually won this from entering a blogging contest. Kurt took this picture of Amelia and I - don't mind my ugly hair. Bad hair day. Ugh!

This is old news because it's been like a month, but you know when you sign up for those giveaways of a car that are in the mall, or some place like that. I honestly always think nobody ever wins (no I didn't win a car).. well I just happened to be looking at car seats on line (I think) and entered the raffle at Recaro to win a toddler seat. Well I was gone and when I came home there was a message on my answering machine saying I won something. I was like "yeah right... stupid telemarketers" but since the lady actually had my mailing info I thought I better call it back. Sure enough I won a car seat for Landen. Now we have one in the truck and he uses it gets used all the time. Landen loves going places with his dad. I was supier excited!!

Hair Clips

Isn't my baby girl cute? Yes, I am one of those biased mothers who seriously believes I have the cutest children ever. Hey, that's how it's supposed to be!

I wanted to post this picture of Amelia wearing her new clips from Glamorous Girls Accessories, that we won last week. She was being a little stinker-poo so it was hard to get a picture of her. She's just about crawling.. today I swear she was about to take off. Anyway, Amelia still has pretty thin hair, but these work fabulous with the non-slip grip on them. Glamorous Girls Accessories offers a lot of really cute clips, for a very reasonable price. I look forward to purchasing clips from her in the future. She's great to work with and there is always new things to check out. Cute, Cute!

We're in a Winter Warning

According to my official reading - measurement from my sidewalk with my green ruler (hee hee) we have accumulated approximately 5 inches of snow already!

Will we see 10 plus inches... and if we do... why couldn't this come in the night when I wished upon a star for 18 inches (that I would have to shovel according to Kurt) so he didn't have to go to work.

Landen and I are keeping the ruler handy.. because we're dorks and have nothing else to do.. to keep up with the amount of snow we get throughout the day. Ha ha! The life of a stay at home mom that has nothing better to do but stay in her pajamas, not get her children dressed because we're having a snow storm.

And yes.. we were going somewhere today... to see our friends that are home from Missouri, so we are missing out on something fun because of winter. I'm pretty sure we should move to South Carolina.. or maybe I'll win my Dream home (not really my dream home) but that's what the sweepstakes says for house in the keyes. Check it out!

I'm off to play play dough.. we're going to make poop! Ha ha ha ha ha!
