Poor Baby
My latest freak out - Baby Amelia more than likely has a mild case of Congenital Torticollis. *sigh* My poor baby! I read up on it on the Internet today, of course that makes me more nervous because it seems to tell you the worst case scenario. I don't even want to open my medical books because they're always giving the worst case scenario's on everything. She definitely prefers to keep that little head looking over her left shoulder, and even though that's not exactly what they show as a symptom in the pictures, it is a symptom. She turns it to the right but prefers it on her left. I've been doing the football hold while nursing on my right side, we slept a little differently last night, and we've been talking to her on her right side - that's a start. We are going to be learning the physical therapy exercises sometime next week too, so we get this kicked in the butt. This morning I was pretty upset about it though - luckily Kurt and my mom got my head back on straight. I always get more upset about things when I don't have enough sleep, and I've been feeling very sleepy lately. Here she is in her cute little yellow dress! Trying to look over her right shoulder. =)

Guess what! landon had this problem, too! He had a really hard time holding his own head up for a long time! He is perfectly fine now, though and we didn't really do anything much to "fix" it--I'll try to find a pic to send you---Hang in there! I'll pray for the little sweetie!
I know it is really easy to freak out..I do the same thing alot of the time! But try not to worry..you know the kids pick up on that!! This isn't anything permanent..she will be fine especially since you are doing the extra exercises to help it even faster!
