Quilt

Here's the quilt I made for Amelia and Landen. I'm not very good at sewing but I decided I was going to tackle this project anyway. It's not perfect - but it was fun to make. All the squares don't line up perfectly,I had an issue with the length of material, and the corners are a bit funny, but it's actually usable and I think it looks pretty good. Kurt figured out the pattern part of it - he's good at that sort of stuff (must be the engineer in him!) I was just going to have them running the same way and I didn't really like that very much. If I didn't say it before, I made this without a pattern, so it was a lot of guessing! =) I'm pretty excited that it turned out and Landen actually slept with it last night. The back is flannel so it's nice and soft. Here's to me being a housewife in my husbands words - this is the sort of stuff I'm supposed to do. Haha.

This is the kind of thing I WISH I could do, but never try! Maybe you'll inspire me to do "what I should do" ;o) some day! It would be a great thing to pass down, don't you think?

Oh, and I love the quilt, by the way!! :o)
