Never a Dull Moment

Well I'm sitting here waiting for some guy to come and fix our hot water heater. This is the second day we haven't had hot water and yes I haven't showered in two days. =) Poor Kurt had to take a cold shower because he couldn't go around smelling rotten at work. I guess I could go heat some water on the stove, try living like they did back in the day without electricity. That doesn't sound very fun to me though, I'll just wait. I will have to clean up a little bit before we leave for church tonight, but I still have a few hours until then.

So - I don't really have anything exciting today. I was just a bit bored with Amelia and Landen sleeping at the same time. This does happen occasionally! I guess I could be doing something constructive around this house, but this sounded better. Landen decided at 1:15am this morning it was time to get up. Being the loving wife I am, (haha) I took him downstairs so Kurt could sleep. He was at one end of the couch and Amelia and I at the other. I woke up this morning to his feet on my belly, dried milk covering Amelia and I, and Amelia snuggled in a ball in my armpit (the sweaty, stinky, oh and probably hairy one - remember no shower.) As I was laying there it made me realize what motherhood is all about. I wouldn't trade it for a minute, I was crabby and complaining last night but after it's all done and over with, I really wouldn't trade it for anything.

Okay, they both just woke up and I smell something interesting (and it's not me). I'm sure diaper duty is calling! There is never a dull moment when you have kids. In the pictures -Landen is wearing his daddy's hat - he also loves our flip flops - oh and he was wearing my heals Sunday. Amelia is laughing now, well sort of. She's smilling a lot though and I suppose the laughing is more of that so called cooing that babies do!?

Ha ha ha ha ha ha! Oh my gosh, you crack me up!!! Especially w/ the hairy armpit comment--(Although, I shouldn't be laughing b/c mine are usually hairy even when I do shower every day. Mine is just called "lazy"--LOL!) The kids are ADORABLE! I'm going to e-mail you tonight--Just wanted to pop by to see if you posted anything!
