I hate the news
I just have to say... the news is annoying, depressing and I really don't know why I waste my time watching. If I hear the word Obama one more time I'm going to scream!

It's still hitting me and it keeps getting worse and worse--The global economy is going down the tubes and the abortion talks are making me want to hurl!! I know soooo many people really are happy and that all of the black people are so proud--I don't mean to take away any of their happiness and I really do recognize the good in this...but the Catholic in me is SCREAMING about all the bad more and more as every day goes by :o(
I was going to make a whole blog post but I've decided not to let myself get down so I'll just do a comment. I know we've learned something recently (although I can't remember the source) about fear pulling us away from God. Don't let it depress you. Keep doing as you've always done. Be an example of the goodness that is still left in so many!! I learned to stop watching the news a long long time ago...they rarely report the good and give every detail of the bad. Don't let it make you think there is more evil than good in the world!
Amen. Fortunately, I keep reminding myself that 2012 isn't all that far away. We must pray for real change - not change that involves a man who has such hostile pro-choice views and is un-American in so many ways (e.g., socialist thinking).
On another more fun subject, I've been out of the blogosphere as far as reading a lot of other blogs, but I love your new "look"!

I completely agree - it's scary that he won... but even more than that - I am just shocked at how much people are making it a race issue. That certainly isn't the reason I object to him being our president... it's MUCH more about the policies that he campaigned on... and for that I'm scared!
I agree, normally I am a big news watcher, especially FOX news. I can't stand to watch-or hear all about Obama!
