Please don't tell me I'm the only one that feels this way.
Yesterday I had to run some errands and of course we had to run into Wal-Mart. The kids and I get out of the van and immediately hear this really loud music, so loud that I can hear every word. Not exactly my choice of tunes, but whatever. As we approach the building a car is sitting in the (what I call) I'm-to-lazy-to-find-a-spot-to-park-you-stay-here-and-watch-the-vehicle-while-I-do-hours-of-shopping zone. I notice a man sitting in the passenger side, doing the typical slow head-nod-I'm-so-cool. We head into the store - come out about 15 minutes later and the car is still sitting there, but this time the music seems to be louder and . . . I kid you not, every other word was F*** this and F*** that. I wanted to walk over there and give the "cool guy" a good talking too and as I'm glancing over at him giving him what I think is a mean stare that you can't even see through my sunglasses I see two children in the back seat not any older than my children. Ahh! What in the world are people thinking? I could feel my heart racing, I was furious - people honestly do not think. Seriously - it doesn't make you cool - it makes you a complete idiot.
Alright so.. we go to the van, Landen comments about the music being really loud but that was it - Thank goodness he doesn't recognize horrible words (no swearing allowed in this family - not even - suck, stupid, etc.) It was an interesting trip until I'm on the drive home and a girl throws a cigarette on my windshield.
I'll be honest here - cigarette/cigar smoking is the most disgusting habit ever. Nobody can justify smoking and if you have kids and you smoke that's even worse. What possess a person to smoke? Argh! Lets just say, sometimes I want to hide myself in a bubble.
To add some humor to a not so funny post - Amelia is pretending to be a cat right now eating out of a cheese wrapper. She just told me that's how cats eat - interesting! Off to prepare the nest.

Isn't it obvious? They AREN'T thinking!! At least not about anyone but themselves!
Ick. People are morons.
I always glare at the person in the car like that. I can't help it. It's much better than what'd I'd say. ;)
On a side note, how did manage to only be in Wal-Mart for 15 mins?! That never happens for us. LOL
The cigarette smoke annoys the heck out of me, too. I'm the type that would support a smoking ban in cars if there are kids. Seriously.
If you have no kdis w/ you, fine. Otherwise, it's not cool.
I say kudos on your strong rule for no swearing. Not that we allow it, but I, myself, have a hard time controlling my mouth.
People are morons. I will support the smoking ban totally Sharon.
15 minutes - in and out to get thread for diapers. No looking at anything else. Ha ha ha.
I have never been much of a swearer - occasionally but I HATE it now. It just disgusts me. =)
