Somethings You Have To Blog About

Don't you just love when your kids do something that immediately brings a smile to your face? Lately Landen and Amelia have been doing this over and over again - yet I have a hard time remembering what all those adorable things are from my "mommy confusion" I'll post the ones I do remember and I hope I don't forget. This picture makes me smile every time.

Amelia has been trying to sing a long in church, unfortunately she doesn't know any words except alleluia and Amen. So, if you can't sing the correct song, why not sing your own version - "Jesus Loves Me and You" over and over again. I'm just happy she likes being in church.

Another song she's been singing a lot of lately is a version of Jesus loves me and Hail Mary mixed. "Haily Mary Full Grace - Jesus Loves Me." I listened to this beautiful song our entire morning while running errands, with Landen being very quick to correct her that it's not the right way to sing those songs.

Landen has been happy to inform me that I'm getting a lot "bigger" lately. Yesterday he told me "Mom, your butt is getting really big. When is it going to get small like mine?" All you can do is laugh, right?

Amelia's birthday was the 12th, then Kurt's dad and Landen's next week. I've been hearing a lot lately "My birthday over" in this sad little voice. Poor thing, makes me want to celebrate her birthday monthly.

Should I start worrying when my kids start crying when the UPS and Fedex trucks drive by and leave nothing on our porch? I'm starting to wonder.

Pretty much every morning Landen climbs into our bed and him and I wait until Amelia wakes because of our chattering. Adorable when your son says "good morning beautiful" to his little sister.

Today I got the kids dressed as every morning - Landen turns to me and says "Mom, aren't we just too cute?" Uh Huh!

I can't remember the other stuff I wanted to post, I'll just have to save them for later.

I love posts like this! :)
How sweet, Landen greeting Amelia like that when she wakes. Does she sleep in her own room?

Lately Brennan wants me to sing him the Hail Mary at bedtime. It's very sweet. He'll say "Hay Ma-ey Grace, again momma".
Trying age, but very fun, too.

Adorable pic!

So many sweet sayings!

The UPS/FedEx comment made me smile. Sometimes I wonder if our 2-year-old will grow up and think this is how it is at everyone's house - boxes and packages almost every day! :)
