Diaper Pail Help

I have a question for any of you mom's who use diaper pails for your cloth diapers.

What do you use? Would you recommend it? Does it stink? Is it expensive? Do you have to use a liner? What do you use if you don't use a pail? Any information you have would be great!

I have to get one as soon as possible. I've been using a laundry basket and that's been working great, but now that it's getting warm, the sun coming in the laundry room makes it warm and you can smell the odor from the diapers. Ick! If anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

We just use a plain old plastic diaper pail. You can put deoderizer in it, but we don't...if you keep the lid closed you can't smell anything, so it works very nicely. But washing out the diaper pail really sucks...so I would recommend getting a diaper pail liner. Then when you have to do a load of dirty diapers, you just grab the liner and throw it in the wash with the diapers. It might be useful to have 2 liners though, so when one is in the wash you can use the other one in the diaper pail. Good luck. :) That's all we use...no deoderizer, and nothing fancy. :)

I say skip the pail and get a hanging wetbag instead! You just throw it im the washing machine when it's dirty. So much easier than a pail, and cuter too! An awesome place to get them (I have 2 from here) http://hyenacart.com/smjae

The large size is what I use.

Too bad you don't live closer. I'm selling mt 2 diaper pails today at our garage sale foe $1 each!!
