Can you help and making me laugh

I have a quick question for anyone reading this that uses cloth diapers. We have the fake Fuzzi Bunz and today I think but I'm not sure if Amelia actually leaked through the PUL. Is that possible? Does it wear out after time, do I have a cheap diaper that wore out, is it my imagination? Just wondering.. I have to mess around with it a bit, but I thought I'd post a quick question asking!

PS. Hilarious comments you all had about my babies wanting a baby - "getting to work on a baby, when are we going to give them what they want, the gifts to start looking for, ect." Every time I read one I laughed! No, we're not expecting . . . . right now! I don't plan on keeping it a secret when it does happen though. =)

PPS. Ha ha ha.. who does PS anymore? I don't know.. anyway.. does anyone have a cool idea for my sister Rebecca to call her blog? She's 17, we like to call her Ruby on occasion, she's beautiful (hee, hee.. had to add that twinky) and I thought I'd just pop a question here real quick, see if any of you had a cool name for her. Something catchy and cute, nothing that has to do with her being a teen, a college student, ect. Thanks!

Do you dry them in the dryer?? The heat should renew the PUL. It does wear out eventually but it should last alot longer than you've had those. Inside it out and you should be able to see if it's wearing off.

I know nothing at all about clothe diapers... but as for your sister's blog, I might have a few suggestions.

Ruby for Real
Real Ruby
Ruby's Ruminations

Hope they aren't too lame!

PS...j/k. Ha!

Yup, PUL wears out. There's a spray that you can use to re-waterproof it, tho. I don't use PUL, so I don't really know where to get it or what it's called. If you go to diaperpin(dot)com and go to the forums, someone there will be able to answer you :) all things cloth diapering are discussed over there.

I love my PUL diaper covers...I sure hope they don't wear out too quickly though! How long have you had yours for?

If you turn the diaper inside out you should be able to see if the PUL is peeling or not. If it's peeling, then it's probably not fixable, at least not as far as I know.

If it's just leaking, it might be going through the seams, and throwing them in the dryer should help to seal the holes again.

Maybe she just peed a lot at one time and it went through the leg hole?

As for your sister's blog, how about something with "jewel" in the title, in reference to Ruby.

Daily Jewels
The Crown Jewel

or

Ruby Red's

Okay so after looking at my diapers some are DEFINITELY peeling. GRRRR! The entire thing makes me furious because I got those stinkin' fake Fuzzi Bunz. I've had them about 8 months with constant wear. Not all have this but a few. So nothing will fix the peeling? I'm going to look into the spray stuff... yse I dry them and Stacy thanks for the going through the seams idea that isn't what's happening with these but I wonder if that was the problme with the HuggaBuns that I tried before. unfornately we have the leg hold problem but that's not the case this time. I guess I have to deal with the diapers fallng apart when they're a cheap imitation! Thanks everyone!!! What I'd do without my blogging diaper pals.

She probably has it all set up now...How about Above Rubies! Like in the bible hehe

Sometimes, Dayna will leak if there is build up on the diaper. I don't know if that helps or not. My brain is currently fried and nothing makes sense to me. So whatever I say probably doesn't make sense either. LOL!
