Sportin' the fauxhawk!

*spelling corrected for fohawk (fauxhawk) lol.. I never said I was a good writter or a speller! Ha ha ha ha ha!*

What do you think of this? If you start doing your kids hair at age two (or younger) in the up to date styles of today, are they going to turn out to be 'pretty boys' (if boys) or really care about their appearance more than they should?

Landen already looks in the mirror and goes "ooh, cute!" I think it's cute, but I had the above thought today when he wanted gel in his hair and hair spray. So I did it all up in a Fauxhawk and he looked like such a little man. I just don't want him turning into one of those - "I need the most expensive clothes, my hair has to be just so, and a mean attitude because I'm better than someone else" kind of kids.

Get my drift? Truthfully, what do you think? I took a picture of him today with his short fauxhawk because his hair isn't long enough! He he.

The way I see it, he's going to be a little hottie, fauxhawk or not, so gel that boy up all you want! Landon loves looking at himself, too, no matter what his hair's doing! LOL! He loves washing his hands just so he can make faces in the mirror! It cracks me up! Oh, and even with his high self-esteem, he still prefers cheap, cheesy, crappy outfits to wear--He loves anything with trucks or action figures or loud print plastered all over it--Sometimes I wish he'd like nicer stuff so I could have less of Lightening McQueen in the luandry pile! :oP
