Did you know that they have opened up the Armory over there for walking? I can't remember when -- I'm thinking 11-1 and sometime in the morning, maybe 7:30-9? I have a friend who has been taking her almost-3-year-old son and her 3-week old daughter in a stroller. She said everyone seems fine with her son running around and running off some steam. I think you have to sign up at the Park District office, maybe? FWIW...
Jenn, We shouldn't eat McD's as much as we do. =( April and Teri - thanks for the heads up on the Armory. We have different places we could go, it's just been so darn cold. I'll remember that though, Thanks!
Sharon--B/C I am a crazy health nut--ha ha ha! Between the health problems (that I really helped by changing my diet immensely) I have fought over the last few years, watching over-the-top documentaries like (Supersize Me and Fast Food Nation), I just decided to skip out on fast food as much as possible. Nothing AT ALL against anyone who does eat fast food (even three meals a day) I SWEAR--I just wanted to try really hard to not let Landon get attached to fast food (Plus--Blush, blush--we don't really eat red meat anymore, especially ground beef, so that knocks out everything good on the McDonald's menu). I can barely get Landon to eat ANYTHING--Might as well be good stuff when he does eat. I know it all sounds pretentious and paranoid--It's just a turn we've taken in life. You know more than anyone how I USED to eat fast food all the time. Remember how much we used to eat chili-cheese burritos, Sharon? :oD Yum! I was soooooo addicted!! Anyhoo, maybe my true calling in life is to be some kind of hippy-dippy nutritionist? Ha ha ha! I'm rambling--Did I even answer your question? (Jeez, you guys are going to think I am a weirdo now!!)
Hi and welcome! I'm a 27 year old Catholic wife and mom. I'm married to my wonderful husband and we have three darlings and an angel in heaven. I'm a stay at home mom and truly love my vocation as a wife and mother.
This blog is a hobby for me. It's me talking through the keyboard.

it's true about the Armory...I used to take Liesie last winter. the park office on IL-2 is where you sign up..and it's free.
Oh yes, we've enjoyed McD's a time or two, also! (esp. when traveling...the indoor playland works out quite well!)
So Jenn-no McD's because?...
