Today was the first meeting of year 2 for FAMILIA! I'm very happy to get back into FAMILIA and meet with the very supporting woman that are in our group. I didn't realize how much I really missed it until we were back this morning. Landen seemed to truly enjoy himself as well - with all his new and old friends and a new little friend that kept chasing him around for friend kisses. I'm pleased that this year will be a lot better for the children's room. It seemed he was with me a lot last year because he was still in that "need my mommy stage" and I wasn't about to abandon my nurturing side and let him cry it out in there.
This year is called God's Esteem for the Dignity of Motherhood. We're focusing on Mary and oh how I have already learned much just from the preamble and reading through lesson 1. At first I was feeling very overwhelmed, as it seems that this year will be much more focused and word heavy, but I'm going to take my time and get through it as well as I can.
I am very much looking forward to another wonderful year of FAMILIA!
