Many have heard of the recent shooting at Northern Illinois University. Yesterday I just happened to turn the television on to check weather and saw people being taken in ambulances by stretcher.
My husband went to school there, along with this brother and friends of ours. I can't believe it.. it's so sad. Then come to find out the shooter was in the same Graduate social work program as one of my other sisters at a different college. How very scary... this could have happened in my sisters class she taught.. even though at a different college.
Here is a read about it.. several are killed and many injured. Please say some extra prayers for this tragedy. So many people could use our prayers right now during all of this.

It is SO sad, isn't it? I just can't imagine. We have two congregants who attend. Both were home in Ster/RF. But I can't imagine how a university can deal with that sort of grief.
