Easter Fun

I hope everyone had a blessed Easter. Of course like most of our holidays we're pretty busy - but we managed. Getting up at 5:00am and not getting to bed until 11:30pm did me in, but that's the way it is! We ended up going to our own church for Easter, the second time since we lived here. I told Kurt that I really don't understand how people celebrate Easter without going to church. What does it mean to them? Is it just another holiday, that gets celebrated (ooh some days off from work?) I mean seriously - do you think Easter is because of the Easter Bunny? Anyway, just something we discussed and I thought I'd blab my mouth about.

We had lunch with Kurt's family and Clint's girlfriend Crystal did an Easter egg hunt for the kids and brought a fun Easter bingo. I really enjoyed it! Then the kids found there Easter basket from his parents and they did an money hunt for the kids. That was awesome.. ha ha ha!

Dinner was with my family. Drama as usual - seriously, I am so thankful for my family. I love them, but sometimes I want scream and shake people. Lets just say, even though I'm an overly emotional person right now I don't enjoy crying after seeing people I love. However, for the most part is really was a good time.

Now for my nice little montage I put together of a few things. I haven't made one of these in a long time. We dyed Easter eggs this year (Landen loved it) - participated in far to many hunts which leads me to hiding the candy from the kids because we have so much (I need to hide it from myself - yummy snickers bars!!!)
