Questions I've Had To Answer.

Landen is really trying to figure things out lately - I love seeing his little mind maturing even if it does require me to find creative ways to explain things.

-"How did the baby get in your tummy?" - "No, really get in there."

-"What were you before you were mom?"

-"What was I before I was little, like Amelia and the new baby?"

-"How did Jesus get off the cross and then now he's back on the cross?"

I've been finding it a bit of a challenge myself to explain exactly what lying is, how just because someone is over weight doesn't mean you have to say "they're fat" and other things along those lines. Wow, parenting is a challenge sometimes!

My mom always said you only give them enough info to satisfy their curiousity. But yours sounds overly curious!! Good luck with that!

It is SO much fun to watch them mature into little thinkers, isn't it? My Madeleine Sophie comes up with some really difficult questions too, at times! ;)

I see you have just 99-ish days to go until you meet your new baby!!! How exciting.

It's those kinds of questions that keep mommy thinking! I had one recently when a 7-year old asked me if mommies had to "throw up" their babies to get them out! I'm sure I looked as surprised as I felt:).

Congrats on your wee one...May you be blessed with a safe and healthy delivery and baby.

I'm curious about your answers too! We're quickly coming up on the question asking phase - I'm sure it will be full of all sorts of interesting explanations :)
