Slackin'

I've been a serious slacker at posting lately. I'm going to blame it on two things -- One, it's been absolutely gorgeous outside and we've been spending so much time out doors that I'm slowly getting tan after getting burnt on Sunday. Two, the bloggy carnival is going on and I've gotten sucked into entering these contest when I've actually had time for the computer, thus leaving me no time for posting or doing anything else.

For a little catch up for those of you who care! Last weekend was busy, busy, busy. We went shopping all day Saturday -- I got my camera, which I already posted about on my not so wordless Wednesday comment yesterday. I really do love this thing, I have yet to figure out if I can have a picture all one color and then accent just one object with another color. Not sure if it can even do that at this point though. We got Landen new shoes at a great price from Stride rite. He's still a double extra wide - will this kid ever be normal!?! =) I've been disappointed in Old Navy's clothing selections lately -- no good sales for for the kids and the style's they have out for woman is far from what I want to wear. I need a new store that's got good prices and cute things! I checked out Plato's Closet for the second or third time, that place is entirely too overwhelming for me. Maybe during the week would be better. I ran into an old acquaintance Saturday evening -- that was strange and a bit uncomfortable. Sunday we made it to the 8:00 Mass, Landen was being wild from lack of sleep. I think we fit into the 10:30 Family Mass a lot better! After Mass we drove two hours to have a rather late Easter get together with Kurt's family. I got to wear my new white bermuda shorts I bought this past winter from NewYork Co. (that store is awesome by the way) and got sun burnt from excessive sun exposure. It was wonderful! Monday's kickboxing wasn't as fun as normal - all I have to say is I seriously need to find a good supportive sports bra. Ahh! Wednesday's kickboxing I got the routine down better than ever and learned how to do a push up properly, oh and yes it killed me. =) Just found out I'm "Mr. Mom" and I have some super power that I can't understand... hmmf... I better go! What better than pictures throughout a somewhat boring post.
